On Target


On Target uses the positive power of football to engage with disaffected young people on 2 evening a week in areas identified by the police as “hotspots” for anti-social behaviour and crime.

The programme focuses on 3 key areas:

  • Engagement
  • Involvement
  • Achievement

Key Out puts Key Outcomes:

  • 40 weeks per year
  • Friday and Saturday
  • 2 x 90 minutes
  • Regular liaison with local schools and youth agencies
  • Progressions into volunteering
  • Qualification in Sports Leaders UK Level 1 Award
  • Opportunities for employment
  • Opportunities for re education
  • Reduce crime, ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour)
