
On Target uses the positive power of football to engage with disaffected young people on 2 evening a week in areas identified by the police as “hotspots” for anti-social behaviour and crime.
The programme focuses on 3 key areas:
- Engagement
- Involvement
- Achievement
Key Out puts Key Outcomes:
- 40 weeks per year
- Friday and Saturday
- 2 x 90 minutes
- Regular liaison with local schools and youth agencies
- Progressions into volunteering
- Qualification in Sports Leaders UK Level 1 Award
- Opportunities for employment
- Opportunities for re education
- Reduce crime, ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour)
