Due to the success of our What’s Your Goal? competition last season, The Leeds United Foundation in partnership with The Football League sponsor, npower have launched our ‘What’s Your Goal?’ competition for the second season, aiming to get students thinking about their careers. With unemployment figures showing more than one in five young people out of work, we want to get students thinking about the variety of jobs in the football industry and help them to develop their employability skills.
We are doing this by offering students in Year 10 and Year 11 the chance to apply for a ‘job’ with us here at Leeds United – a 4 day work experience placement during the 2013 Easter holidays. We have a range of exciting ‘jobs’ for students to apply for, these include
- Community Coach (x2)
- Groundsman
- Club Shop Manager
- Events Manager
