Have you just gained your GCSE results and not sure what you want to do?
Do you want an alternative to A-Levels or Further Education?
The Leeds United Foundation is offering year 11 students who have just gained their GCSE results an opportunity to be a part of an exciting new Futsal and Education Scholarship that starts in September.
The scholarship in partnership with @futsal, offers 16-18 year old males the chance to gain a first class education by completing a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport that can lead to further education at university or employment within the sports industry.
Alongside the education element, Scholars will receive up to 8 hours of training per week by fully UEFA Qualified Leeds United Coaches and play fortnightly fixtures against such teams as Middlesbrough, Hull, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby, Bradford, Scunthorpe and Huddersfield to name a few.
Michael Kinsey, Futsal Coordinator said “This is a fantastic opportunity to those year 11 students that are not sure what they want to do after gaining their results. This scholarship offers each candidate an opportunity to gain a first class education that has a unique edge to other programmes within Further Education”.
Michael added “It is also an opportunity for those students who did not achieve their desired GCSE Grades as we want to let them know that this can be an alternative option for them”.
If you have a passion for Leeds United, a passion for football and want to gain a passion for Futsal then please get in touch.
