Lives: Whinmoor, Leeds

Interests : Football And Golf

Favourite Team: Leeds United

History: I did bad in school I left with no qualification and no hope. I started hanging around with the wrong crowd and getting into trouble with the police. If it wasn’t for Leeds united giving me this opportunity to change my life I would be probably be in jail or out on the street been a nuisance.

Why I Applied: The reason I applied for the apprenticeship is because I want to make something of my life and not be a bum anymore I also don’t want to be known as that naughty kid who will never make it anymore.

What I want out of the apprenticeship: I want to be able to look at my self at the end of the apprenticeship and be proud for once. I also would like to become a full time member of staff for Leeds united

Personal profile

Name: Peter Bunting

D.O.B: 28th September 1993

Age: 19

From: Wakefield

Position: Centre Back

Favourite Team: Leeds United

History: I was late starting playing football competitively; I started playing when I was 12 for Alverthorpe Juniors for who I played centre half, I stayed there for 3 and a half years before moving to Outwood & Eastmoor FC. After my first season at Outwood at the age of 16 I had trials with Leeds United, this fell at the wrong time as I was currently injured with a broken metatarsal. The season after Outwood formed into another team and became Next Generation FC, I then spent a further 2 years playing for them.

Why I applied for this job: I applied for this apprenticeship because for me personally this was my second and last chance to be able to get on this job ladder. Coaching has always been something I’ve wanted to do but been able to start at such a high profile club is like a dream come true.

What I hope to achieve?: My main goal in life is to become a manager. So for me by doing this I hope to gain as many skills, qualifications and as much experience I can get to be able to achieve my goal.
